Our vacation clinic runs for 4 days in the Spring and Summer and 3 full days in the Autumn and Winter holidays. The first 3 days of the Spring and Summer clinics, participants undertake a combination of nets sessions, skill drills and modified games. The 4th and final day is our popular “Super Eights” Games Day.
Pick up/drop off
Drop off and pick up is at the clubhouse at the Southern end of Weldon Oval. The best point of entry is the carpark off Stirgess Ave Curl Curl.
In the event of inclement weather, please report to Weldon Oval. Staff members will be present at the gate to redirect you to the wet weather venues if necessary. A decision on transferring to our wet weather venues, if required, will be made at 8.30am.
A revised program of skill drills and modified games is undertaken at our wet weather venues.
If it rains unexpectedly during the day, we have access to the dressing rooms and club house at Weldon to keep the children out of the weather.

Full week attendees also receive a “Helpful Hints” Certificate to assist them to improve their game and a t-shirt. Major prizes are also presented. These prizes do not necessarily go to the best cricketers, but those that exhibit values of sportsmanship and fair play.
Working with children check
All staff members are required to complete the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation Prohibited Employment Declaration and Working with Children Employment Screening Consent Forms.
Children are grouped prior to the commencement of the clinic on the following basis:
- Requests to be with friends
Each group generally contains approximately 10 children. Groups are revised as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all children.
Accredited and friendly staff provide quality and enjoyable coaching at the clinic. A combination of teachers, University Undergraduates and current players make up our staff. Many of the coaches have progressed themselves through the pathway of the clinic to first grade cricket for Manly Warringah and on to represent the State team of NSW.
We can provide personalised one on one or small group coaching in the following areas:
- Spin Bowling
- Fast Bowling
